Michael P. Steinhauser, DC, has been a staff Doctor of Chiropractic at Medical Wellness Associates for over 27 years. He is a native of Western Pennsylvania
After suffering a back injury, he turned to Chiropractic manipulation. The results were, according to Dr.Steinhauser, “nothing short of amazing. I went from not being able to put my shoes and socks on to returning to activities without limitations.”
As they say, “The rest is history”. Dr. Steinhauser’s health care epiphany, propelled him to complete his degree in Health Sciences at IUP, and, subsequently, his D.C. degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic.
Following graduation, Dr. Steinhauser moved to Los Angeles, where he was employed as a staff D.C. at one of the first multidisciplinary health care facilities in California. As fate has it, Dr. Steinhauser met his beautiful wife Martha while working at this facility.
Feeling the call to “come home”, Dr. Steinhauser and his family relocated to Greensburg, Pa., where he now resides with his wife and three children. While at Medical Wellness, he has provided immeasurable benefit to our patients. Dr. Steinhauser is known for his compassionate approach to patient care and high quality spinal manipulation. He also integrates nutritional assessment and vitamin and botanical medicine with his protocols.
